I started out in music. I hold a degree in Music Composition and Theory from West Chester University, but I found the same satisfaction in systems that I found in composition: taking many moving parts and making them work together cleanly. That pull toward structure is what moved me into operations and software.

For eight-plus years I have built the internal tools, data infrastructure, and processes that businesses run on. In an operations and analytics role at a nationwide K-12 edtech company, I owned initiatives that spanned customer-facing products, internal systems, and executive reporting, from a district-facing e-commerce platform to internal tooling that cut manual work by an order of magnitude, plus the SQL reporting leadership used to manage its largest accounts. I also worked directly on production databases, tuning performance and remediating systemic data-integrity issues in years of sensitive records.

More recently, as the operations manager for a multi-service retail business, I reported to ownership and led a modernization of point-of-sale, inventory, and internal workflows across sales, rentals, repairs, and lessons. I built sales-support apps that standardized pricing and enforced loyalty credits correctly, and delivered analysis to ownership on staffing, structure, and cost.

Alongside all of it, since 2016 I have run Vashta Entertainment, an independent game studio, with my friend Bret. We've taken multiple titles from idea to release, together, reaching 2M+ downloads along the way.

What ties it together is curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. I am fluent enough technically to build the thing myself, creative enough to see the potential in an idea, but collaboration is the secret ingredient.
